My current read "The Subtle Art of not Giving a F**k" by Mark Manson. An awesome book on self development. Do you have the soft copy of your read that you can share with us?

Welcome. Read it kitambo kiasi, but without hyperbole, The Subtle Art is life changing. The author doesn't mince words in passing out the points. One take away I remember from chapter 2 was that pain makes us grow. And that we should not expect to be happy or content all the time, sometime things will just F**k you up and you need to face them. This was the best part of the book.

Although I think the title was a marketing gimmick that worked well for the author.

Ooh yeah that part where he narrates a story of how he got knocked and the more he tried to walk to the house the further it seemed to be. I also agree with you on the title. In my opinion both the title and the content of the book have a high correlation. Lemme read your book that you shared and then I'll give you my two cents on it.

Now that you have mentioned. I like the way this forum is structured. Why dont we form a book club here. Where we start a thread for a particular book and review chapter by chapter.

It will be a good accountability partnership. If only we can get like 3-4 people reading the same book. Am sure if a review thread is started, you cannot miss someone reading thr same book. Just thinking aloud.

This Covid19 period seems to be a long haul.

@Admin should create a Book Club forum here, maybe under Clubs &Societies. Where bookies like me can find a safe heaven ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ
